Dr. Amit Gosalia is a Board Certified Doctor of Audiology and a vetted member of the HearingUp Network. He completed a rigorous one-on-one vetting process with Dr. Cliff Olson himself to verify that he follows Best Practices in patient care. As an independent private practice audiologist, Dr. Gosalia hand-picks the best hearing technology available for each patient’s unique needs.
Born in New York and raised in Arizona, Dr. Gosalia earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University and went on to build a successful private practice in Vancouver, WA before joining West Valley Hearing Center in Woodland Hills in 2017. He became an audiologist to help the thousands of Americans with hearing loss enjoy the special moments they were missing with family and friends.
A nationally recognized leader in audiology, Dr. Gosalia has served on the American Board of Audiology Board of Governors, as President of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and as Chair of the American Academy of Audiology’s Marketing and Public Awareness Committees. He is a past adjunct professor at A.T. Still University, where he instilled the importance of patient care, best practices, and ethics in future audiologists.
Dr. Gosalia has received numerous honors including the Audiology Foundation of America’s Professional Leadership Award and the Jack Vernon Crystal Award from the American Tinnitus Association. He is the author of “Papa, Can You Hear Me Now?” — a book focused on the importance of better hearing and the impact of untreated hearing loss — and co-founder of AudBoss, a collaborative online forum for private practice audiologists across the country.
Along with his national accomplishments, Dr. Gosalia has written articles in national magazines, served as an invited speaker at audiology meetings, and given numerous talks to the medical community on hearing loss and tinnitus. He is also actively involved in several non-profit organizations in Los Angeles, including Face Forward International and ALAPIO.
