Summer is here. It's time to protect your hearing! Avoid exposure to loud concerts, fireworks, racecars, etc. whenever possible. Consider protection from damaging noise including earplugs (stock or custom-fit) or earmuffs, with at least a 22dB (decibel) noise reduction rating. If you'd like specific guidelines, schedule a consultation with Dr. O'Connor. She has access to all the latest hearing protection, including custom filtered earplugs for professional musicians. Be it rock music, classical music or powertools... if you listen too long or too loud you could damage your delicate hearing structures!
